Singing is one of my favourite things!

Something I have always done from a very young age was sing. Only for family…I was wayyyyy to shy to let others hear me.

Fast forward a few years and I have found myself connected with an awesome group of ladies that all feel the same way about singing.

It is a healing experience, brings joy when your feeling crappy, a community when you may not have any friends.

So my next video is talking about just that. The article I stumbled across and then looked up other facts about what singing can do for you!

You keep what you speak!

Yup read it again! You keep what you speak!

At first I was like “huh??” But after listening to an interview done by Ray Higdon www.rayhigdon.com for this 14 days of greatness challenge I am doing. It dawned on me that he was right!

Mindset is 100% what will either let you fly and take you on to bigger and greater things or it will keep you down and in your safe bubble!

With this challenge I have to do a “Live” video everyday. So today I decide to share this one here.

One week left

Well, what can I say??

There have been some ups and some downs. But am I giving up??

Heck no! I have been at this stage for a very very long time, and I am frustrated at times with how my body doesn’t work as I think it should. However, Deep down I want to be healthy and fit!

But there is always that little voice inside that says a cheat meal is ok; go ahead have that cookie or piece of bread! 🀯

As much as I try and silence it, sometimes it is just so loud. I have come to terms that this is being human.

But like I said I am not giving up. Last week I did finally bust through a plateau that has lasted more than 6 months.

I keep my daily log book of what I eat and try to hit the gym at least 3 times a week at the minimum.

Even with all these things the scale….the dreaded freaked scale doesn’t budge that often.

So about 3 months ago I put it away. I take it out once a week (as it does keep me accountable). Sincex then I have been going by how my clothing fit and next week I will do my measurements.

This 6 weeks was a new kick start into a different healthy plan and even though I may have had some bumps in the road and the scale may not say what I want it too: I still feel pretty darn good about myself.

I know I am stronger; I have less back pain which is huge for me. I can push myself a little harder at the gym knowing I won’t have weeks of pain afterwards.

Will I ever get to my desired body?? Who the hell knows but it is one moment, one step, one day at a time.

I may not be able to control everything but as long as I am healthy and my children see that I am trying to better myself that is a win in my books.

So keep on, keeping on and if you have had success with weight loss or keeping fit let me know your go to! I would love to have some feedback.

6 weeks healthy lifestyle challenge.

6 weeks isn’t a lot, I know. But the last few months I have been struggling.

A constant battle with the scale and I has not been pretty.

Numerous visits with the Dr. Multiple blood draws and in the end everyone still says the same,it’s your age, your genetics keep going and it will just melt off!

BLARGH!!!!

So yes like any human I get upset and sabotage myself.

So instead of repeating the same insanity I am asking for your help to keep me accountable and in the end I hope I can do the same for you.

What’s in the box?!

So I have been attempting to vlog!

With the craziness of life I have been finding it easier to vlog lately rather than sit and write out my thoughts.

I do really like both platforms so your going to get a mix from me!!

This week I received my order from my monthly auto shipment. The funny thing is I never remember what I have added into it that month. So that is always exciting!

This month I got my skin mask and face cream.

These have worked wonders for me and my skin. Reducing fine lines, uneven skin, size of my pores and I was even told last week that I didn’t look almost 40!

Thanksgiving weekend

What a weekend!

I love that since moving down the “southern Ontario” 😜 I have gotten the chance to really get to know my Aunts, Uncles and cousin.

Coming out to the farm and letting my kids run in the yard and just bring kids is always a calming experience. We slow down, we sip tea and cocktails. We chat the day away and of course we eat!

Being Thanksgiving this weekend we did it right! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ—

We always have way too much food and pretty much eat leftovers at every meal. We complain we eat too much, feel kinda sick but every year we do the same thing.

I am always amazed how easy it is the flip back into old habits and take the easy route and over indulge.

Well that is what I did this weekend. I over did it!!!! 😰

So know that we are back home this mommy is back on the wagon.

I will not deprive myself but instead make smarter healthier choice.

Having taken a quick look at the calendar it is 10 weeks until my next birthday.

Starting tomorrow I will be working on consistently making smarter, healthier choices!

My week after wisdom teeth removal!

So I decided I would vlog the last few days since getting my teeth removed.

So I will try not to repeat myself too much here but I can say that I am enjoying doing a vlog!

It maybe something I will have to really look into, although I do like writing!

And day 5 I went back old school status update as it was a busy day getting Christmas lights up and decorating the house for Halloween. Cleaning up the yard started and I was happy to report that I made it till 4pm before having to take any pain medsπŸ‘πŸ»

Now it is time for tea and snuggles with my littles before bed.
